Business Owner Brecken Curtis told Sky News host Peter Gleeson that he will be running for Mayor of Longreach, a region in Queensland. “I think it’s time we have new ideas and put into practice some fresh thinking,” he said. He believes the immediate challenges for regional Queensland include “water security” and “population decline”.
