Young stars to shine in Bundaberg

WHILE Bundaberg’s senior crickets bask in the glory of the weekend’s success, the region’s up and coming stars are facing their own shot of glory at the Queensland Under-12 State Championships at Kendalls Flats.

Ten teams from regions across the State descended on the East Bundaberg sporting facility yesterday to compete for the bragging rights as Queensland’s top cricketing region.

The Wide Bay team has Bundaberg stars Jacob Dallas, Brennan Dempsey, Jayden Grogan, Siena Johnson, Kye Leggett and Joel Saunders in its ranks.
