Young boy injured in bike crash
A YOUNG motocross rider has been airlifted to hospital after a serious collision near Bundaberg.
The seven-year-old suffered a fractured leg and pelvic injuries after crashing into another rider at a private motocross track near Lowmead.
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter's Intensive Care Paramedic and a Queensland Ambulance Service paramedic treated the young boy's injuries and administered pain relief.
He was stabilised and airlifted to Bundaberg Base Hospital with his mum.
