Write forum for support

AS the first of an impressive line-up of local authors to appear at the Angus and Robertson book store in Hinkler Central Shopping Centre, Rebecca Mugridge could only sing the praises of the experience.

“A lot of people came and had a talk and brought books to sign,” The Pram Diet author said of Saturday’s appearance.

“It’s just so wonderful Angus and Robertson are supporting local authors.”

Ms Mugridge said although she had been fortunate regarding publicity for her book, she knew it could be difficult for local authors anywhere to get support.

“People want to buy local products,” she said.

“A lot of people who came I’ve talked to over the internet and it’s really positive to get that direct writer-reader feedback.”

Ms Mugridge is now writing another book about healthy living.
