Woman bashed after 'verbal fight' in carpark

A WOMAN has been violently punched multiple times to the face following a verbal fight over a carpark in September last year.

Police are searching for a woman who was allegedly involved in an assault in Maribyrnong on Saturday, September 2.

It's understood two women became involved in a verbal argument over a car park at a Rosamond Road shopping centre close to 3.30pm.

Police have released a facial composite of a woman who they believe may be able to assist in their inquiries.

During the altercation from inside their cars, one of the women, the alleged offender, got out of her car and approached the other woman before punching her to the face three or four times.

Police have released a facial composite of a woman who they believe may be able to assist in their inquiries.

The woman is perceived to be of Maori/Islander appearance, has a solid build, approximately 30-40 years old and has long dark coloured hair. She was wearing a dark coloured top and black tights.
