Agnes Water woman dies in crash

A 29-YEAR-OLD Agnes Water woman died in a single-car crash on Saturday night.

The woman, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was driving along Anderson Way when her car rolled about 10.30pm.

Ambulance crews responded to the scene at 11.45pm, but the woman was declared dead at the scene.

Agnes Water resident Maddie Annett said it was believed the woman was only fairly new to the area.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and is preparing a report for the coroner.

The fatality was the first in the NewsMail's coverage area since last Wednesday's launch of the state's Christmas Road Safety Campaign.
