Woman injured after crash involving cow

AN 18-YEAR-OLD woman has been airlifted by the RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter this morning from Gayndah Hospital to Bundaberg Base Hospital.

The woman was injured in a motor vehicle accident overnight when her car hit a cow.

She suffered suspected neck and spinal injuries and was flown to Bundaberg Base Hospital for x-rays as a precautionary measure.

The patient travelled in a stable condition.
