Woman bitten by snake

A 65-YEAR-OLD female was believed to have been bitten by a snake at Agnes Water today.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the woman had puncture wounds on her toe.

"She went to the surf lifesavers first," he said.

The spokesman said the woman was then taken to Bundaberg Hospital and that the type of snake was not known.
