Woman attempts to drive injured husband to ambulance
AN INCIDENT in which a woman planned to drive her injured husband to an ambulance station has resulted in the Queensland Ambulance Service issuing a safety reminder.
The 65-year-old woman was intending to drive her husband to medical assistance after he was injured in a chainsaw incident.
Instead, she phoned triple-0 and within two minutes paramedics were at the man's side.
He was transported by ambulance with a severe arm injury to the Toowoomba Hospital.

"Never drive directly to an ambulance station for assistance," the Queensland Ambulance Service reminds people.
"Remember, in an emergency always call triple-0."
