Woman tried to 'kill ex with car'

A 45-YEAR-OLD woman is due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court charged with attempted murder after an incident at Raceview on Sunday afternoon.

It is alleged the woman drove a car at a 42-year-old man on Crosby Crescent about 12.35pm.

The man jumped out of the way and sustained minor injuries.

The woman has been charged with one count each of attempted murder, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and wilful damage.
