The wonderful Wizard of Oz to take over hospital

CHILDERS Hospital will transform itself into the magical land of Oz for its Biggest Morning Tea next week.

Nurses, doctors, admin staff and residents are inviting the community to take part in the fun-filled morning with a Wizard of Oz theme.

Assistant nurse Chelsea Marshall said there would be raffles, prizes as well as lucky door prizes.

"A few years ago we had an Alice in Wonderland themed morning tea," she said.

"This year we have done Wizard of Oz and are inviting people to come in rainbow colours.

"We are even going to line up the gold coin donations to make a yellow brick road."

Mrs Marshall said all the money raised would go to Cancer Council.
