Bundy Thunder entrant dresses up

MISS Bundy Thunder entrant Alicia Otto will be dressing up as the wicked witch from the classic movie The Wizard of Oz on Saturday night, and she is hoping plenty of Bundaberg residents join in the fun.

Ms Otto, who is the Bundaberg Regional Council’s entrant in the contest, is to host a screening of the movie outdoors under the stars on the lawn area behind Fairymead House in the Botanic Gardens.

Moviegoers are encouraged to arrive by 5.30pm, with screening starting at 6.15pm.

People are encouraged to attend in Wizard of Oz costumes, with prizes for Best Themed costumes as well as lucky door prizes.

Tickets are available from the council’s centre in Bourbong Street or at the gate on the night.
