Where Gold Coast's second casino will be built

ALTHOUGH it won't now happen on The Spit, the Gold Coast is still expected to get a second casino.

Three potential sites have been identified by city leaders, who tell the Bulletin Surfers Paradise and Southport at the likely frontrunners to become the new home of the Gold Coast's econd casino.

Southport. ASF own the Park Lane land and it is seen by city

leaders, including Cr Dawn Crichlow, as a realistic location to have a casino. It is

considered easier to develop than The Spit with its closeness to the light rail a positive.
