What’s coming up at the Moncrieff

Variety shows

THIS form of entertainment made its way from the Victorian era, from stage to radio and television.

The popularity of live variety artists peaked between the '40s and the '80s, and the industry has been impacted largely by the world of television and the internet, plus there are now fewer venues with live artists.

The one group that has been around forever is, of course, Wickety Wak, and it remains popular. Wickety Wak comes to the Moncrieff on July 24. See below.

Cinema

MOVIES this week are Jurassic Park and Inside Out.
