"I stand on my integrity" - Cr Lynne Forgan

What is the biggest achievement in the past four years?

I am proud of the achievements I have made in council, such as the redevelopment and upgrade of the award-winning Boreham Park in Division 10, from an underutilised space to an amazing activity area, suitable for people of all ages and able to cater to a wide range of activities.

The highly successful free exercise program, Be Active Be Alive, which continues in parks and pools across the region, is now in its fourth year.

What is the biggest disappointment in this time?

Great work has been achieved by this council, even though it has been harder to source funding for major projects.

Why should people vote you back in?

I stand on my integrity and getting the job done, working to achieve the best outcomes for Division 10 and the region as a whole.

What is your main priority for the next four years in the Bundaberg region?

To encourage economic growth, business expansion and the creation of employment opportunities.

Deliver the plans that are in place, development and progress brings employment and allows us to maintain our lifestyle in a liveable, workable and affordable environment and whether you agree with it or not, the council's "open for business" initiative certainly attracted much-needed development to our region, which in turn has created jobs for locals.
