Welcome drink for Nigel

A COLD beer awaits Nigel Brennan’s return to the Moore Park Beach Bowls Club, which just last week held a raffle for his cause, and raised more than $500.

Barman Noel Cock and club secretary Peter Donlan said they did not know the Brennans personally, but the excitement and joy of Nigel’s return was palpable.

“Everyone is happy, and everyone knows of everyone here,” Mr Cock said.

“Everyone’s very happy and very pleased,” Mr Donlan said.
