Wedding worth clogging about

SONYA Volzski has been a dedicated Cane Country Cloggers member for 20 years.

The group surprised Ms Volzski with a “clog” wedding shower on Saturday, September 18.

About 35 friends and dancers kicked off the event, which had Ms Volzski dressed in crepe paper in the club's colours.

Gin Gin teacher Patti Koorneef helped with the dancing.

Cane Country Cloggers member Doreen McNicholl said it was a great day.

“She has worked so hard over the years and is a very devoted organiser of the clogging,” she said.

“For a young woman to be involved in this kind of club is commendable.”

The group wished Ms Volzski all the best for her October 2 wedding to Trent Holden.

The couple will be married in a chapel at Yeppoon.
