Water and oil spilled in crash

A BURNETT Heads road was blocked for a short time yesterday after a two-car crash led to the spill of oil and water.

Police were called to the crash, at the roundabout near the intersection of Burnett Heads and Rickerts roads, about 5.45pm yesterday.

A woman is believed to have received minor injuries in the crash.

An earlier two-car crash also created disruptions to traffic on Walker Street.

Two people were taken to Bundaberg Hospital after the crash, about 3pm near the intersection of Walker and Pitt streets.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said their injuries were not believed to be life threatening.

Investigations into the cause of both smashes are continuing.
