DASHCAM footage that captured both sides of a three-car prang has shown why it pays to indicate early.
The footage shows a vehicle quickly slowing down to avoid a driver hurriedly changing lanes on Sydney's Anzac Bridge.
The driver manages to brake in time to avoid hitting the car in front but still gets hit by a ute changing lanes behind him.
The footage has been viewed more than 26,000 times on Youtube and copped some harsh criticism for the two cars changing lanes.
