WATCH: Close encounter of the large whale kind
Isaac Schipper was part of the small group fishing 15 miles off the coast of Bundaberg yesterday when he captured amazing footage of their close encounter with humpback whales and dolphins.
Mr Schipper said the encounter was a once in a lifetime experience.
"I've never seen anything like this before," he said.
"We saw a whale breach off in the distance and definitely weren't expecting them to come so close."
"I'm glad I had the camera with me."
