ABOUT 200 Kepnock State High School art students are set to entertain the community next week for its annual Arts Night extravaganza.

With this year's theme being war and peace, dance teacher Taryn Hartley said the students were eager to present the performances they have been working on for the past three months to an enthusiastic audience.

"They will explore through film, dance, music and visual arts what it means to have a peaceful world and what it means to be at war," she said.

"And the students have creatively and imaginatively responded to that theme."

Miss Hartley said gold- class tickets cost $10 and general entry $5.

"Gold-class ticket holders get preferential sitting and a program," she said.

"And food and drink is provided for them during the intermission."

Arts Night 2013 will be held at the RJ Young Hall at Kepnock SHS on Wednesday, October 23 at 6pm.
