DON'T think you look any good in a bandanna?

Well, get your dog to wear one for a photo and you could win a year's free supply of Wendys ice cream!

In support of CanTeen's National Bandanna Day, Wendys Sugarland is offering customers the chance to win a year's supply of delicious Wendys ice cream by taking the best photo of their dog wearing a CanTeen bandanna.

The promotion will run throughout October in support of CanTeen's National Bandanna Day on October 18.

As with previous years, the store will once again be supporting CanTeen by selling bandannas to help raise awareness and funds for young people living with cancer.

"We've been involved with CanTeen for many years and getting behind National Bandanna Day has always been a big part of our support," said Kylie Hohn, owner of Wendys Sugarland.

"This year we thought we would encourage the local community to get behind this cause by giving people another idea of how the bandannas can be worn - we think our Wendys mascot Ace looks great in a bandanna!

"All customers need to do is purchase a CanTeen bandanna at our store, place it on their pooch and then email in a picture for their chance to win.

"And, of course, you can always buy two bandannas - one for you and one for your dog. By doing so you'll be making a difference for young Australians living with cancer - something no young person should have to face alone."

With the help and funds raised on National Bandanna Day, now in its 19th year, CanTeen will continue to provide specialist services to help young people cope with the physical, emotional and practical impact of living with cancer.

Wendys officially became one of CanTeen's major national partners in 2011, committing to contributing $150,000 to the organisation every year for three years. Wendys Three Wishes ice cream was specially developed to support the organisation, with part procees from every scoop sold donated to CanTeen.

To enter Wendys' National Bandanna Day competition, purchase a CanTeen Bandanna from your local Wendys, place it on your pooch and email a picture to marketing@wendys.com.au.
