NOT everyone needs to be based close to the Brisbane CBD and if you are one of those lucky buyers who can live anywhere in the state, there's plenty of cheap housing options. We've pulled together a list of five for under $50,000.

Granted most of them need a bit of work, but the bones are there and even if you have to spend to improve them, you've got yourself a house for what many spend on an inner city deposit.
