Monster truck visits school

IT was a monster of a day after the Avenger turned up to greet St Patrick's Catholic Primary School students.

The 3.5m wide “monster truck”, weighing just under five tonnes, thrilled the pupils, who were impressed at how loud the beast was, and took advantage of the time to have a close look.

Year 1 student Cooper Hayhoe said his favourite part of the truck was its boost tank.

“Because it makes them go faster,” he said.

Year 1 student Toby Yates said he could not believe the noise the truck made.

“I like them because they crunch cars and they are so loud,” he said.

The Monster Slam – War on Wheels show will feature at the Bundaberg Showgrounds this Saturday.
