VIDEO: Elderly men trade blows in Coast road rage

RIGHT in the middle of a Sunshine Coast hinterland street, two elderly men have been filmed trading blow after blow to one another.

Filmed by a dash camera and shared today by Dash Cam Owners Australia, a grey four-wheel drive can be seen tailgating a charcoal-coloured sedan on Wednesday.

The four-wheel drive allegedly uses a right-hand turn lane to illegally overtake the sedan.

As a result the sedan swerves to the left to avoid being hit by the four-wheel drive and then speedily follows the other driver in turning left, without indicating.

As the third driver, whose car was equipped with a dashboard camera, follows them around the corner into Sahara Road, Glass House Mountains.

The incident caused traffic to be stopped while men fought.

The driver of the four-wheel drive, wearing a blue shirt and navy blue shorts, then approaches the sedan driver, who knocks him to the ground.

The yellow-shirted sedan driver then assists the man in the shorts off the ground, but is struck by a closed-fist punch to the head.

One man who allegedly witnessed the incident said they were "old enough to know better".

"Apparently it started earlier, but I caught up with them on the railway bridge in Glass House Mnts Qld," he wrote.

"They are old enough to know better."
