Richo's Girl claims victory

RIVER Heads trainer Marie Richards had a sweet win on Saturday with her dog Richo's Sugar taking out the AMS Computers Final at Thabeban Racecourse.

Richo's Sugar beat Bozo's a Surger and Jessie Stanley in the final of the Bundaberg Greyhounds Association fifth grade grand final.

Earlier in the day Flipperty Jig beat High Dancer and Enforcer's Girl to take out the first race of the day.

The Wurtulla-owned dog ran 27.3sec in the Dogmover's Maiden to cruise home.

In the Stud Maiden,Yandina dog Cindy's Miss was victorious, beating Forceful Lady and Monseur Noir.

South Kolan trainer Brian Terry got the region's first win for the day with Ten Dancer in the Novice race.

Terry's dog beat All About Foxy and Short Stack to the podium in the beginner's event.

Then Bundaberg dog Smart Emma lived up to her name, winning the fifth-grade race.

The Maria Raines-owned dog ran home ahead of Koolboo Diva and Darlington Girl, who came second and third respectively.

Smart Emma ran 27.2sec in an easy victory on the 460m Thabeban Park track.
