Men break bones as brand new Mercedes crashes

TWO men were taken to Bundaberg Hospital after their vehicle overturned on Moorlands Rd, Moorland on Saturday night.

The 40-year-old driver of a brand new Mercedes Benz sedan and his 36-year-old passenger were taken to hospital in a serious but not life-threatening condition where they remain.

The two men suffered broken bones and internal injuries.

Police said that alcohol and speeding may have been involved.

Forensic crash investigators will review the car's on-board computer to shed more light on the incident.
