Ute driver dies after crash

A 24-year-old Bundaberg man has died in hospital after his ute hit a power pole on Princess Street yesterday.

The man was cut from the wreckage of his Holden ute after the single vehicle crash near the East End Hotel about 5.50pm yesterday.

He was taken to Bundaberg Hospital with serious injuries, and died overnight.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
