MEDIA and medical professionals from around the world will gather today in the Turkish city of Gaziantep to discuss the crisis in Aleppo.

The Union of Medical Care and Relief Organisations has organised interviews with doctors from inside Syria and medical experts.

The union said airstrikes at the weekend had hit four medical facilities in East Aleppo, causing massive damage to two of them, injuring two doctors and killing an ambulance driver.

Since the beginning of the siege on East Aleppo in July, medical facilities have been hit 27 times.
