Two teens charged over drug lab

POLICE allegedly discovered a clandestine drug laboratory during the search of a Thabeban property about 2.30pm yesterday.

Detectives from Bundaberg Criminal Investigation branch searched a McCarthy street address and allegedly located a quantity of drugs and equipment used in the production of methylaphetamines.

A 19-year-old Bundaberg man was charged with production of dangerous drugs, possession of a utensil and a weapons act offence.

A 19-year-old Thabeban woman was charged with production of a dangerous drug. They are both due to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on October 22.
