Two more homes burgled

THE recent spate of break-ins around Bundaberg continued overnight with two more homes burgled.

Bundaberg Police Sergeant Mike McLellan said residents on Hunter St, South Bundaberg, were woken about midnight to the sound of a person trying to break in.

The would-be thieves did not gain entry to steal any items.

Sgt McLellan said the activity continued at Parker St, Millbank, where thieves gained entry to a home and stole a wallet before fleeing.

The break-ins are the eighth and ninth in Bundaberg since Friday night.
