UPDATE 10.43: A trailer lying across the Bruce Highway on the Sunshine Coast has been cleared.

The trailer obstructed one lane of traffic, causing heavy delays for commuters heading southbound at Forest Glen.

A Queensland Transport and Main Roads spokesperson said there were no spills or debris on the road as a result of the incident.

The semi-trailer is blocking southbound lane at Forest Glen after losing its load.

Police were unable to confirm the load the truck was carrying, but have advised that traffic is congested as a result
