Cranes needed for truck rollover

POLICE were called to a semi-trailer rollover on the corner of Grange and Bundaberg Port roads yesterday afternoon.

At about 2pm, police received a call that the truck had overturned.

Police Inspector Kev Guteridge said it appeared the load had shifted as the driver made the turn.

Two cranes were required to lift the cargo and the heavy vehicle back on to its wheels.

Clean-up efforts were still continuing at 5pm.

No one was injured.
