Truck rolls on Peak Downs Highway

UPDATE 12.48PM: A MAN has been transferred to Mackay Base Hospital with reported back injuries, following a truck rollover on the Peak Downs Hwy this morning.

The patient was believed to be the sole occupant of the truck which rolled on the Highway at Victoria Plains.

A QAS spokesman said emergency services were called to the scene of the incident just after 11am where they found the man in a stable condition.

Paramedics then treated the man for back injuries, QFES assisting them on scene.

All emergency services departed Victoria Plains about 11.45am.

 

UPDATE 11.45AM: QUEENSLAND Fire and Emergency Services are at the scene of a truck rollover on the Peak Downs Hwy.

A truck rolled on the Highway at Victoria Plains.

Emergency services were called to the crash just past 11am. Paramedics are still en route to the scene but the driver of the truck is reportedly conscious and breathing.
