Truck driver attacks man at Cunningham Hwy truck stop

A TRUCK driver allegedly attacked a fellow motorist after being accused of causing damage to his car.
At 9.30am yesterday, police say a 46-year-old tourist pulled into a Tregony truck stop behind the truck driver.
The tourist allegedly approached the truck driver about debris falling from the truck and damaging his car, after which the truck driver "ran after him" and punched him several times in the chest.
Police attended the stop, and the truck driver was charged with assault.
He is due to appear in Warwick Magistrates Court January 11 next year.
