Trophy for under 15s cricket match

An amazing bowling effort from Dylan Streets helped Bundaberg claim the inaugural Reg Rowe Trophy yesterday at Kendalls Flat.

He took 9-13, and also caught the final catch in the under-15 game against Rockhampton.

At one stage he had 5-3, before returning to the crease and taking four more wickets.

Rain meant they could not complete their match, but the under-16, 13 and 12-b teams all registered victories against their northern rivals.

Steven Grogan’s 42 not out, on top of some great all-round bowling, helped the under-16s to a seven-wicket win.

Cody Maughan took 3-7 in the under-13 win, while Hayden Herbert made 29 to confirm their four wicket victory.

Not to be outdone, Joel Saunders took a hat trick in the 12a game against Rockhampton, to finish with figures of 3-17.

Dylan Sears hit 34 and took 4-9 to lead the 12b team to their win.
