Tri...ing times in Agnes Water

PLENTY of people are hard in training for the Agnes Water Triathlon.

The event is being held on October 4 and all are welcome to enter.

More than $3000 in prize money will be up for grabs and has been donated by local businesses.

The race will begin at 7.30am Tom Jeffrey Park.

There are two race categories with different distances, sprint distance being longer and “Come 'n' Tri” being shorter and designed for those that want to give it a go for the first time.

A junior aquathon will also be held at Agnes Beach on October 3.

This event has two categories for under 10 and under 14s.

Entrants will run, swim and run again.

Participation and fun is the focus of the aquathon, with each participant receiving recognition of their efforts.
