Treat yourself at golf resort

AS GREG Chalmers celebrates victory at the Australian PGA Championship, Hyatt Regency Coolum Golf Resort and Spa has announced an opportunity for golf fans to enjoy membership on the same celebrated course.

Sure to appeal to local golfers, Hyatt Regency Coolum is offering a limited number of memberships at Australia's best-ranked resort course, allowing weekday play at special member rates.

For an annual membership fee of $400, golfers can play 18 holes on weekdays for $79 per round, as well as having access to the driving range after 6pm.

Players can opt to try the course before signing up by buying a one-off gift certificate offer of 18 holes for $99.

Hyatt Regency Coolum also offers memberships for both its golf driving range and tennis courts, giving regular guests and Sunshine Coast locals a chance to enjoy excellent sporting facilities.

The resort's golf driving range membership costs $250 per person and offers $300 worth of balls plus a 30-minute golf lesson to the value of $55. It can be used any day between 6pm and 8.30pm and is valid until all balls are used.

Tennis memberships costs $400 per adult and offer 12 months' unlimited court hire as well as other benefits including a 20% discount on racquet restrings, grips and fitting.

The memberships are also available for couples ($600), children aged 8-16 ($150) and families of four ($800, additional child $100).
