Trailers grounded after red label defects issued
RED label defects were issued after the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command - NSW Police Force identified a trailer with no lights.
Upon inspection of the vehicle at 7.30am on the Mid Western Highway between Bathurst and Cowra, police identified six damaged brake lines on both trailers, damaged wiring harnesses as well as smooth defective tyres and no wheel flaps.
Both trailers were grounded and a major defect was issued to the prime mover.
