Toy library open for business

THE Childers Toy Library is now open for 2010 and local parents are invited to take advantage of the service.

The office is at 14 Hinkler Street, Childers, and is open between 10am and 11am on Tuesdays and Fridays.

There is a wide variety of toys available for borrowing with membership just $20 per year.

Members are able to borrow four toys per fortnight to provide many different play and learning experiences for their children.

Toys can be matched to the developmental level of children to maximise their fun and learning.

The service is also great for kids who grow out of their toys quickly and families with limited storage space available.

For more information, telephone 4130 4690.

Biggenden tai chi

DEVOTEES of tai chi have resumed practising their moves in Biggenden.

Classes are held at Biggenden’s Memorial Hall each Tuesday morning from 9am until 10am.

Instructor Anne Buzaglo is leading the class again this year.

The classes are free, thanks to the North Burnett Regional Council providing the venue free of charge.

New members are always welcome to join the classes, which provide great skills, fun, friendship and fitness.

For more information, telephone 4127 1110.
