Tourists have passports stolen

A GROUP of tourists visiting Bundaberg were left at a loss when their campervan was broken into on Saturday morning.

Cameras, medication, jewellery and photocopies of passports were stolen from a tourists’ van.

The van was parked on Barolin Street when the crooks broke into the visitors’ van.

Bundaberg Police Sergeant Steve Schultz said the thieves pried open the side window to enter the van. The theft was reported to police at 11.49am on Saturday.

Bundaberg Police are investigating.
