SERIES: A look at how Tinana shapes up for 2016
TINANA may be rebuilding their senior grades but the club's committee are understandably excited about its juniors.
Tinana were forced to withdraw from Wide Bay League after a substantial loss in player numbers, but vice president Peter Kluytenberg said the club would take the chance to focus on development.
"We're going through a rebuilding phase with younger senior players along with the experience in the club," he said.
"We're excited about the prospects that won't be this year but in the next two years."
Kluytenberg said Tinana's grand final-winning under-12 side were excited to compete in the Fraser Coast League.
"They were separated last year but they're now our Fraser Coast U13 team," he said. "They're excited to take on the new competition in Hervey Bay. It's a remarkable team with incredibly talented depth."
Kluytenberg said Tinana boasted strong junior numbers.
