THIEVES have stolen a "significant" number of tobacco products from a warehouse in Coomera.

Police say the offenders forced their way in at some point between 2am 2am Saturday, October 1 and 6.30am Monday, October 3.

The offenders used a ladder stolen from a nearby business to gain entry through the roof and were able to disable the alarm system.

Once inside they forced open shipping containers full of the tobacco products.
