Thieves steal cold and flu tablets

TWO pharmacies were broken into and a number of cold and flu tablets stolen in Bundaberg and Bargara.

Bundaberg Police Senior Constable Melissa Foletti said the robberies of the chemists in the Bargara Central Shopping Centre and in Bourbong Street took place late Tuesday night or in the early hours of yesterday.

“We can’t say whether the break-ins are linked at this stage,” she said.

It is believed the tablets were for drug production. Anyone with information can telephone Bundaberg CIB on 4153 9111 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
