They should hang heads in shame

IN OUR modern world, technology is not just important - it is crucial.

I break out into a cold sweat when the wi-fi goes down and I am contactable 24/7 unless there is a major network outage.

And being contactable at all times is now a given, not a luxury, so I can see why if people can't get on to a store, they would take their business elsewhere.

While problems with personal telecommunications are a big annoyance, it doesn't affect your income or your reputation.

That is why I think the way Telstra have handled the situation with Bundaberg Wholesale Palms and Plants should have them hanging their heads in shame.

Through Telstra's lack of support and interest in getting the problem properly resolved, it has cost this company business, probably some customers and a lot of cash.

It is simply not good enough.

And the ultimate insult is they won't consider compensation due to the timing of the claim - that it was around the same time as a cyclone that never even impacted us.

I just hope that this is the last of the problems.
