Theft of big brass bearing

BUNDABERG police are investigating the theft of a 100kg brass bearing from a business in Whittred St, Bundaberg East.

It is alleged that between 3am and 3.20am on January 15, an unknown offender entered an area where it appears an overhead crane was used to place the brass bearing into a wheelbarrow.

The offender has used the wheelbarrow to transport the brass bearing to an external area.

The offender has then left this area with the bearing, leaving the wheelbarrow behind.
