THE results are in and Static Clothing is standing in the limelight after being voted the favourite retail store in Bundaberg.

NewsMail Facebookers where asked to nominate their favourite retail store and vote to show who in retail knows how to please its customers.

Almost 200 comments were shared and voted on in the past week and the poll results have shown Static Clothing is number one after beating its closest rival by more than 50 votes.

Static Clothing owner Sarah VanDalen said she is grateful for the votes and support shown by the public.

"I have a lot of loyal customers," Ms VanDalen said.

"Most of my advertising is done over Facebook.

"My customers are mostly younger people who I guess know how to work it (Facebook).

The modest 22-year-old said her shop was different to a lot of other local stores.

"We try to be funky and upbeat with clothing that is different to a lot of others," she said.

"It's just fantastic to know we have he support from locals.

"I'm a very big believer in keeping it local and supporting small businesses."

The clothing store has been in Targo St for the past two and a half years and Ms VanDalen said she has a lot of repeat customers who know what they want.

"We sell a lot of street wear that comes from overseas, like the USA, for males and everything from street wear to dress clothing for the girls."

"I'm amazed and would really like to thank everyone who voted."
