The NewsMail is chasing the biggest footy fans

TO RUGBY league fans north of the Tweed River there are few things sweeter than seeing a mob from New South Wales lose any game.

And for a Queensland team to win the NRL grand final by beating a Sydney club it is the ultimate success in the sport, apart from State Of Origin.

So when the Broncos and Cowboys won their respective preliminary finals at the weekend, ruling out a NSW team claiming the trophy, Queensland as a whole can celebrate.

There will be calls in the national media for the grand final to be held in Brisbane, but the NewsMail is chasing something else.

The call is out to find the biggest Brisbane Broncos and North Queensland Cowboys fans to go head to head in the grand final special in Saturday's NewsMail.

To fire up your fellow Broncos or Cowboys fans, simply nominate yourself, or someone you know, as the biggest fan and you could be part of the grand final coverage this weekend.

If you or someone you know has a lifelong love of the Broncos, or a passion built up over the past 20 seasons following the Cowboys, it doesn't matter, because the result of Sunday's game will make or break your footy

season.

There will however be some footy fans who decide to sit on the fence this week, saying they just want to see a great game, but frankly that is quite boring.

Bundaberg, it is time to choose sides and get behind a team who you think will win the 2015 NRL grand final.

Whether it's Wayne Bennett's men or Paul Green's, there will few TVs tuned to anything but the NRL grand final on Sunday, and we can't wait for the game.

Email your nomination to sport@news-mail.com.au.
