Teenage girl hit by car outside Coast high school

BREAKING: A teenage girl has been hit by a car this afternoon outside a Sunshine Coast school.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene outside Nambour State High School after witnesses reported the collision in Carroll St at 3.06pm.

Paramedics remain at the scene, tending to the girl. 

While the girl is experiencing pain to her legs, paramedics reported she was able to walk and has no obvious serious injuries. 

Paramedics are expected to soon transport the girl to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital as a precaution.
