Teen suffers head injuries after 4m fall at Maccas car park

A NINETEEN-year-old man is nursing a headache this morning after a long fall onto concrete at a popular Coast fast food restaurant.

Paramedics were called at about 3.30am to McDonald's Maroochydore car park on Aerodrome Road and Wirraway Street to treat the teen who suffered head injuries after falling 4m onto concrete.

It's unclear exactly what he climbed and then fell from, but there are signs, trees and other structures that all fit the bill.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the man was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition and hadn't suffered any serious injury or trauma from the fall.

A McDonald's staffer was unable to shed any more light on the incident this morning as workers on the early morning shift had finished up.
